CHANGE OF dLONGITUDE (CH LONG/ D LONG)

THE CHANGE OF LONGITUDE BETWEEN TWO POINTS IS THE SMALLER ARC OF THE EQUATOR INTERCEPTED BY MERIDIANS THROUGH TWO POINTS

It is annotated EAST or WEST according to the direction of the change from the first point to the second. It depends on whether the points are EAST/WEST of the PRIME  MERIDIAN (0°) for the value of the change.

RULES (According to the PRIME MERIDIAN)

•EAST to WEST / WEST to EAST - ADD the LONGITUDES

•EAST to EAST / WEST to WEST - SUBTRACT the LONGITUDES

•While crossing IDL (180°) ADD the two LONGITUDES then SUBTRACT it from 360°, then check the direction
