Earth's Axis is Tilted 23½° from the plane of its orbit around the Sun. But this Tilt changes during a cycle in about 40,000 years and varies between 22° to 24½°. The Tilt of the Earth causes seasons to occur and also produces effects such as the Midnight Sun, where the Sun never sets during some summer nights in very High-Latitude Regions.
